I've been really excited to read Dot by Randi Zuckerberg for a few months now and decided May was a great month for this wonderful story. If you want to have a conversation with your class about all the amazing benefits of technology, as well as all the amazing benefits of unplugging and going outside, then check out Dot today!
Randi Zuckerberg shows how Dot knows how to do so many things on a tablet, phone and laptop - but she's all by herself. In turn all the swiping, searching, tweeting and touching can happen outside in nature as well - and with friends to share the experience!
Dot is a really short story, and I feel the post conversation with kids can be the most powerful of all.
Teacher Tweet from yesterday!
Dot Complicated is also by Randi Zuckerberg and provided me some great reflections on being digital in life and how to balance it all.
